Adding music to iphone itunes 11.0
Just let me play my music on the device I own.
How hard is this to grasp? Dec 10, 5: This started with iOS 10 and the addition of apple music. There is no way to get this functionality back. Unless you navigate every time you want to start playing music to the show downloaded music and start play from here there is no way to prevent iOS from trying to play every song in your library. Of course anytime you need to download updates or install new app you have to sign back in. The solution to just go downloaded songs and play there is useless unless you only start playing songs from your touch screen on the phone.
If you use any bluetooth device or even the apple headset and press play, it knows nothing about the downloaded selection on the music app and will start streaming your entire library. Dec 10, 7: I know a couple of good app developers that told me Apple wont let them create a stand alone 3rd party player either.
Good suggestion about bout signing out on the phone though, thank you. Dec 10, I agree. Everything is shot. I read one Apple response that said go to downloaded music and click on playlists. All it does is ask me to create one. All of mine seem to be gone. All is OK on the regular macs. Just iOS is screwed up.
I also put all of the music on the cloud and paid extra for that. I can't access any of that with the awful new music app. I can get it on my old iPad with an old iOS. Communities Contact Support. Safari Speciality level out of ten: Then I tried everything by myself, and finally, I made it! I just selected "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library", it works! It was unselected before, and iTunes 11 keeps the old settings. If you are in the same case, don't miss this setting!
